How the Landed Cost Calculator works

Landed cost is what a unit costs by the time it sits in Amazon's warehouse. Sellers who use the factory price alone routinely overestimate profit by 20–40%.

Formula

  • Total landed cost = Goods + Freight + Customs + Duty + Insurance + Inspection + Packaging + Prep + Labeling + Warehouse + Misc
  • Landed cost per unit = Total landed cost ÷ Quantity

Example

$4 units land at $6 each once freight, 10% duty and inspection are included.
